CONTEXT: Vereda Guausa Santander
In Colombia, the government has built strategies and infrastructure prioritizing early childhood health however, access to this is limited for rural areas. So pregnant mothers are forced to assume greater responsibility to safeguard their health and that of their children. Guapa is a radio soap opera focused on helping pregnant mothers to accept their role in a positive way, so that they implement self-care habits in their daily life, cultivating a closer relationship with their children and their health.

Guapa is a radio soap opera that tells through a story how to prevent or face risky cases in pregnancy
The radio soap opera is divided into 3 seasons depending on the stage of gestation in which the mother is
The rural area has more numbers of teenage pregnancies and mothers head of household, this affects their psychosocial condition
Teenage pregnancies not only present a health risk since the female body is not biologically prepared but also that the capacity and psychosocial tools of an adolescent are not commonly adequate to face and accept a role of caregiver. So accompanying the process and providing tools to positively accept their motherhood is an essential part of preserving and safeguarding early childhood health
